old has turned into a stripper! (Diaper included)
Nov 1, 2013 -- This
morning Clark streaked in front of half the neighborhood when the bus came to
pick up his brother and sister. The kids on the bus got quite the show along
with the line of cars behind the bus! I blame his exhibitionism on heredity and
more specifically his aunt Ana Maria Richards. Thanks a lot!

Accident Prone
Broken Foot #1 March 2012 -- Clark repeatedly jumped off the couch landing with his foot tucked under to be funny.After a week of limping we decided it was time to take him into the doctor.
Oops, He Did it Again
Sept. 24, 2012 -- Breaking his foot 6 months ago was
apparently not dramatic enough for Clark. He decided to even things out by
breaking his other foot! As my wise hubby pointed out: there's a reason for the
"no more monkeys jumping on the bed" story.

Some Kids Have Separation Anxiety . . .
Oct 25, 2012 -- Unlike most preschoolers who cry on the first day of school when their mom leaves them, Emma waited until today to cry when I have to stay with her for a field trip. I'm deciding whether to be happy she is so independent or sad that she doesn't like my company.The picture below was after she had reconciled herself to being stuck with me for the day!

Dec 14, 2012 -- It's a princess. . . . It's a cowgirl. . . IT'S WONDER WOMAN! Emma got creative and improvised. In case you can't see it, she taped scrap pieces of fabric she found to her wrists.

One day Sergito was begging dad for a Nintendo DS because uncle David had one. Sergio said “No, but you can make your own.” Sergito quickly proceeded not only to make his own with paper and markers, but he also made one for Clark and Emma. They spent the next several days “playing DS” complete with sound effects and a running commentary of every jump, every coin acquired, and every bad guy who they of course never failed to defeat.Life Skills

22, 2013 -- Today we are grateful for WASHABLE
art products such as watercolors which apparently can also be used as face
paint, wall paint, or redesign your furniture paint . . . Who knew they could
be so useful?
This reminds me of the time we found the couch cushions scattered across the living room floor covered in scribbles and what appeared to be the signature of the artist (Emma). When I asked her if she had written her name on the couch she was quick to deny it. Sergito was quick to inform me that HE had written her name on the couch so that we would know she had been the one to scribble all over it!
Bowties are cool
Aug 20, 2013 -- Sergito bought this particular bag of M&Ms with his own money specifically to make this bow-tie. I was impressed by his self control. The bow-tie lasted at least one if not two weeks before he broke it open to eat its contents. The really amazing thing, is that I didn't eat it before then!
