November and December Catch-up

THANKSGIVING

For Thanksgiving we went to see the Pendeltons who put on the most beautiful spread I have ever seen. Too bad it didn't occur to me to take the camera out until after we had eaten everything. The food was delicious, the company was even better and as always it was great to see them. Sergito also got an early birthday present which he LOVES (army men, tanks, jet, helicopter. . . can you say AWESOME!). It kept him entertained for 2 days straight and has been a favorite ever since. Thanks Tyler you sure know how to pick them.

Playing with Sergito's present and Sergio sporting his nasty beard.

CHILDREN'S MUSEUM FINAL HURRAH!

Our museum pass expired at the end of the year, so I took the kids for one final trip in December.

Ball pit suction magic

Emma playing at the water station (she was having fun, she just forgot to tell her face).

Sergito crawling through the tree house tunnels

Showing off the dog he built

Cash register - buttons, buttons, buttons

Emma loves trains -- can you see the "choo choo" coming out of her mouth?
The polar express!

Sergito and Emma rode in the caboose.

Ready to ride!

Admiring the train displays

I took a picture of the Cincinnati skyline from the museum center for when we move away and feel the need to remember.

FESTIVAL LIGHTS AT THE ZOO

We went to see the zoo lights with the Fothergills. It was fun despite the cold.

One happy family (notice Sergito refused to wear his mittens(he regretted it later)

Sergito and Thomas riding the camel

Meeting Mrs. Claus (this is when Sergito regretted not wearing his mittens. Once his hands started warming up inside, he started crying from pain. On the bright side, he wears them all the time now!)

Christmas stories with Mrs. Claus: We learned that Santa's favorite candies are candy canes which he uses to stir his hot chocolate, and his favorite cookies are chocolate chip.

THE CHRISTMAS TREE AND SANTA!

Sergito and Emma were almost as much help decorating the tree this year as they were taking the ornaments off!

Sergito asking Santa for hungry hippos at the ward Christmas Party

The big red paper on the Christmas tree was Sergito's letter to Santa, which magically disappeared one night and was replaced with treats!
