Winter Summary

I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted anything. We are so excited that it's been warming up and have already made it to the park two or three times in the last couple weeks.

But before I get carried away by the thought of Spring, let me share some of our winter adventures.

Getting pulled around in the laundry basket

Cruisin' in the coin cars without any coins (we save them for the fountain) at the mall after running around in circles (If we go right when the mall opens, we see all the senior citizens getting their exercise.) When it's not too cold, we often went for a walk to the stores around the corner: Sergito's favorite stop is Gabriel Brothers. It's a warehouse clothing type store so there's plenty of room for him to run and get his energies out. Emma and I follow him around in the stroller while he races through the aisles, which are thankfully generously wide.

Sometimes the best part of the day is bath time!

And when all else fails, a little lotion when mom isn't looking is always entertaining!


We also got to cheer the Jazz on to victory at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indiana (technically this was in March, but we'll count it as winter fun)

I am a bit sporadic in taking out the camera so there were plenty of things I didn't get pictures of: movers and shakers at the library, homemade play dough, baking cookies with Sergito (always a willing helper when treats are involved), cleaning (yes Sergito is still tricked into thinking that spraying and wiping is loads of fun), playing cars or superheroes, dragging Sergito around the floor wrapped up in a blanket, shooting hoops, playing with balloons, making a birdhouse with Sergito's tool bench, and watching more TV than we should.

For Christmas we also got a pass for the children's museum which has been fun.
